Days 5 & 6: Hungry

Here's a caveat to the title of this post: I was hungry because I didn't plan (or pack) quite as well as I should have. Let me explain...
On day 5, which was Sunday morning, I babysat in the morning from 8:30 - 12:30 pm, so by the time I got home, I was starving for lunch. I had leftover salmon and vegetables waiting for me in the fridge. That's sounds all fine and dandy except for the fact that I hate leftover salmon. I have given leftover salmon so many tries, and it honestly fails me every time. Maybe I need a new reheating technique (like reheating on the stove top or something), but damn, my lunch left me hungry. Nevertheless, I had to meal plan, grocery shop, and meal prep, so dinner was a late one again.
Then today, I meal prepped and prepared and brought my lunch to school and was all ready to go (even turning down the alluring food truck option), only to realize that I left my roasted potatoes at home. My meal was incomplete. I was sad... and hungry again by 4 pm. UGH.
Note to self: Don't forget crucial pieces of your meal at home.
Day 5 recap below!
Breakfast – 8:15 am
Hard-boiled egg
2 slices of Pederson’s bacon
Snack – 11:00 am
EPIC chicken sriracha bar
Lunch – 1:00 pm
Leftover salmon
Leftover mushrooms, yellow squash, and broccoli with a roasted red pepper sauce
Dinner – 8:15 pm
No fuss salmon cakes (from the Whole30 book)
Green beans, peppers, mushrooms, and onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper
As I was meal prepping and cooking for the week, I snacked on the roasted potatoes which were intended for lunch for day 6.

Day 6.
Post-Workout Snack – 6:30 am
Small handful of cashews
I got up early this morning and went to the gym. I ran/walked on the treadmill for 2 miles. I would have run the whole thing, but I made a poor choice in sports bras… #ouch *facepalm*
Breakfast – 7:30 am
Leftover mushroom and sausage frittata with Frank’s red hot
Lunch – 12:15 pm
Tuna boats on romaine
Side of peppers, blueberries, and strawberries
I would have had roasted potatoes too, but alas, I left them in the fridge. *crying*
Snack – 5:00 pm
Roasted potatoes
5-6 blueberries
Yep, as soon as I got home, I ate the potatoes. I was hungry AF.
Dinner – 8:00 pm
Mixed Berry RXBAR
Zucchini and yellow squash noodles with leftover meat sauce
Sautéed mushrooms
I woke up from a nap around 7:30 pm and was really lethargic and exhausted. On day 6, you're apparently supposed to just want to nap, and I definitely did that. When I woke up, I was really hungry, so I ate an RXBAR. However, they're starting to taste like candy, and I feel like I'm in danger of using them as a replacement for sweets, so I'm probably going to have to cut those out.
Finally, we have my grocery list and meal plan for days 6-10 as well as a picture of all my lovely groceries from this trip. On this trip, I went to Trader Joe's and spent about $100, and then I went to Whole Foods for some remaining items I didn't find at TJ's and spent $20.
